2021 Classic Incentive, Thu 31st Dec, 2020

The ABHA for over 9 years has sponsored a buckle to the value of $250 to all affiliates who run a Classic event with a posted prize money of $1000 or more.

In 2020 the ABHA also provided a Cash incentive of $500 to those affiliates who ran $1000 Classic Event, and a $250 Cash incentive to those who ran a Classic Event with $500 Posted Prize Money. This incentive was very well received throughout the year.

For the past few months the ABHA Board has been discussing ideas around incentives.

We are pleased to announce that as of the 1st of January 2021 the ABHA will now be offering a $500 cash bonus to Affiliates that run a $1000 Classic event.

The ABHA will no longer be sponsoring a buckle for these events or the $250 cash incentive for $500 Classic’s.

We encourage all affiliates to still support Ride Tuff if you wish to award buckles, as Ride Tuff is a long time sponsor of the ABHA.

This incentive will be in place until 31/12/2021 and will be reviewed prior to the 1/01/2022.

Conditions :

Posted Prize Money must be a minimum of $1000

Each Affiliate can only receive the incentive twice per calendar year.

Affiliates can use the $500 cash incentive at their discretion in the running of their event.

ABHA NEWS, Tue 8th Dec, 2020

Hello ABHA Members and Friends,

Christmas is fast approaching once again.....

The second of the ABHA State Championships has been completed. A big congratulations to all the competitors and winners and THANK YOU to Cap Coast for running such a professional event.

Sadly Suzy Patterson has resigned from the board of the ABHA. We thank her for her time on the ABHA Board.

The vacant position will be filled sometime in the near future.

December was to hold two State championships but unfortunately due to COVID out break in SA, their event has been postponed.

Tasmania will still be running their event on the 19th of December 2020and we look forward to see who our next State Champions will be.

The dates for the National Event in Tamworth have been set (COVID PENDING) and are the 13th September 2021 to the 19th of September 2021 - The 2021 National Finals will finish on the Saturday with Presentations Saturday evening and then allowing members the Sunday to travel home.

The ABHA board has reduced the standard Qualifying events for the National Finals to accommodate the areas with restricted events due to COVID 19 from 5 to 3 events.

The programme will be advised as soon as it is set but the Open Divisional has been reduced to a 7D not the 8D as in recent years .

As COVID restrictions ease many events are getting back up and running - Congratulations to all that have run an event in this very trying time.

Keep an eye out for the next News update.
